Latest from the Marketing Team
Last week saw the successful launch of the new Corporate Identity Guidelines and within that, the Marketing team are now speaking to Kitlocker, a Sheffield based firm about streamlining our corporate clothing requirements. We will be speaking to all section heads within the coming weeks to discuss their requirements and then meeting again with the lads from Kitlocker.
Also last week, the final preparations were being made for the DN Business Showcase at Doncaster Racecourse. Marketing will be attending alongside The Stables, Work based Learning, Doncaster Business School and the ICT Academy. The event takes place on 13th and 14th October, pop along if you get chance!
A brand new on-line booking system was launched last week for the Graduation Ceremonies to be held at Doncaster Minster in November. Work in continuing in earnest on the ceremonies, so please bear with us during this very busy time.
The new Undergraduate prospectus is being delivered this week and will be making its premier appearance at the Compose your Future event in Manchester
And to finish… the Marketing team have interviewed a well-known personality this week… more to come on this in the next few weeks!!

New Corporate Identity Guidelines, A New Website and More!
Today see’s the launch of the new Corporate Identity Guidelines; these are the most comprehensive set of guidelines the College has issued. Within the guidelines you will find criteria on using all the College brands and sub-brands as well as College partners. In addition there is also guidance on College clothing, banner stands, emails, word documents, window branding, PowerPoint documents and stationery.
It is imperative that these guidelines are adhered to as misuse of the branding can lead to loss of funding. The Guidelines have been approved by the College Executive and Corporate Identity training will be offered to Senior Management and other members of staff as necessary.
The past week has been a busy one for us, the brand new FE prospectus was delivered and the Undergraduate prospectus was passed to press (it’ll be back in a few weeks).
We’ve also attended (along with Learner Services and Work-based Learning) a massive event in Sheffield called Skills Yorkshire and Humber, where pupils from secondary schools around Yorkshire and the Humber attend to discuss the future education.
We are also preparing to create (in partnership with the HE team) a new magazine called Inspire which Celebrates success amongst our HE staff and students.
Amongst other things we have been doing are prep for the Graduation ceremony, press releases and logistics for the forthcoming Business event at Doncaster Racecourse.
We’ll keep you updated every week on what’s happening in the marketing department, so check back then.
